ON THE ROCKS

This contemporary shingle style home located on the rocks in Gloucester, MA underwent a significant architectural and design build, connecting the views of the shoreline and open ocean beyond to its new, open floor plan inside. Neutral palettes of whitewashed linen slipovers, cozy mohair, durable, rich leather and off-white wool fabrics on upholstery and carpeting serve as a quiet backdrop. An uber-talented artist in residence, the owner’s paintings of blues and colors of the sea are striking.
