BEACH STREET
This classic gambrel colonial beach house on Beach Street overlooking the beach in Cohasset, MA, was made to order: family-friendly, on point style-wise, and up for all-day-long wear and tear of three active little boys and one huge dog. We incorporated layers of texture with beach house vibe grasscloth, art, soapstone, and plumbing in an otherwise formerly neglected pantry area. The classic kitchen is outfitted with vintage light fixtures and unlacquered brass hardware. The dining room has a relaxed, sophisticated vibe, with chairs sewn in a subtle dressmaker’s pleat. The master suite provides a soothing respite in neutral territory with honed marble, hand-blocked wallpaper, and capiz shell lighting.
