MEASURING YOUR ROOM

Create a floor plan. Make sure you include all doors, windows, etc. Measure each wall from the corners
(width and height), including all openings and windows (size, height and location).
The floor plan doesn’t have to be exactly to scale as long as the measurements are right.

Other helpful measurements:

1. CEILING HEIGHT
2. POWER OUTLET LOCATIONS
3. HEIGHT OF WINDOWS AND DOORS
4. LIGHTING AND PERMANENT OBJECT LOCATION

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photos should include every wall (w/doors, windows, etc.), the floor and the ceiling.
You can send Kate photos of any existing furniture or decorations that you want to keep.
Send us a picture of the outside of your home if you think you might want its architectural
style incorporated into the room’s design.
